So I’m a dad now..

Yes, this was the big personal event I was talking about earlier.. :D My wife Annemari gave birth to a little, healthy baby girl on the 3rd of May! That makes me one happy (newbie) dad.  She’s four weeks old soon — doesn’t sound like a long time, but it’s been all new for both of us, so it feels like it’s been much longer already.. :) Most of my time now revolves around her, as you probably can understand. Learning new things about her every day, it’s nice! :)

Well, to wrap this post up, here are some pictures of her. :) The pics are from the oldest to the newest, left to right.

Your baby is beautiful….congrats. I just got jewels and absolutly love it but I don’t have a save button. Do I have to start over each time? I play the infinity mode. Thanks

Thanks. :) You can press MENU-button to access the menu, including the save feature.

Mika, your baby girl is absolutely adorable! :) It wont be long before she starts talking and walking, trust me. And the first smiles are probably gonna come your way any day soon! The growth-rate is unbelievable… I don’t remember if you ever saw our baby girl Saara (not a baby anymore, now 1,5 years), but you are welcome to visit, if you want to get perspective on what’s up ahead. :)

Very good to hear, that you’ve been able to prioritize your time a bit, Ville’s had to do some of that too. And yet, judging from Ville, it seems to still be possible to keep on doing a little coding on the side, even with that new and important dad-title. Anyway: Good luck with everything, Mika&family!

Thank you Anne! :) Looking forward to when she starts moving around — my dvd-shelves are just eager to receive the attention and stuff being pulled down from them, not to mention all the easily accessible (and expensive!) electronics, such as TV and PS3, heh! :D She has been actually accidentally smiling for some time now, and just like within a week or 1.5 she has started really smiling to us, looking into the eyes while doing so. Cute! :)

I haven’t actually seen Saara apart from some photos, but we thank you for the invitation and shall consider it, perhaps something can be arranged some day. :) They do grow up fast, I’m sure! I should be starting to do some preparations for a new (mobile) game and company, and try to finish that darn masters thesis as well! :P But I guess there isn’t any hurry. Anyways, thanks again for the comment! :)
